Burger King’s Grillsurance gives you one (1) free WHOPPER per day when there’s a total barbeque ban in your area in the summer of 2019.
WHAT IS A GRILLSURANCE WHOPPER MEAL?
A Grillsurance WHOPPER Meal includes – apart from a normal WHOPPER Meal – a code that you can use to register your Grillsurance, here at grillsurance.se
HOW MUCH DOES A GRILLSURANCE WHOPPER MEAL COST?
A Grillsurance WHOPPER Meal costs SEK 5 more than a normal WHOPPER Meal. The price may vary slightly from one restaurant to another. Burger King will double that extra SEK 5 and donate the entire amount to the Swedish Association of Volunteer Fire Departments.
WHO CAN TAKE OUT GRILLSURANCE?
Anyone who buys a Grillsurance Whopper Meal can register a Grillsurance policy with us. All are welcome!
HOW DO I REGISTER MY “GRILLSURANCE”?
You register your Grillsurance by buying a Grillsurance WHOPPER Meal at any of Burger King’s restaurants in Sweden between 31 August and 11 September 2018. The Meal includes a card with a code you can use to register your Grillsurance on this website (grillsurance.se).
WILL REGISTRING A GRILLSURANCE COST ME ANY MORE, OVER AND ABOVE THE COST OF THE MEAL?
No! The price of a Grillsurance WHOPPER Meal is all you have to pay to sign up for your Grillsurance.
YOUR GRILLSURANCE IS VALID DURING “TOTAL BARBEQUE BANS”. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
The term “total barbeque ban” refers to a barbeque ban that applies even on your own property. You cannot, in other words, claim a WHOPPER if the barbeque ban only applies in public spaces.
IF THERE’S NO TOTAL OUTDOOR BARBEQUE BAN IN THE SUMMER OF 2019, CAN I CARRY MY GRILLSURANCE OVER TO 2020?
Sorry, no. This Grillsurance policy is only valid for the summer of 2019.

Our Grillsurance is valid between 15 June and 15 August 2019.

WHY IS BURGER KING DOUBLING THE PROFIT FROM THE SALES AND DONATING IT TO THE SWEDISH ASSOCIATION OF VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENTS?
As we’re sure you know, last summer’s barbeque ban was in place due to the risk of fires in forests and the countryside. In addition to offering you a legal alternative to your own outdoor grilling, we want to support those heroes who help fight the fires that unfortunately rage during conditions like this.
YOU SAY YOU’LL “DOUBLE THE PROFIT” AND DONATE IT TO THE SWEDISH ASSOCIATION OF VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENTS. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
It means that we will add up all of the profit we make on sales of Grillsurance WHOPPER Meals after the closing day of the offer, i.e. 11 September. Burger King will then contribute the same amount and donate the combined total to the Swedish Association of Volunteer Fire Departments.
